OneBC's Plan to Secure Prosperity For All

Prosperity

1

A tax-free BC in 10 years, starting with an immediate income tax cut of 50% on income under $100,000 and 25% cuts on all other personal & corporate income.

2

Cut the cost of government by ending unfair subsidies for pet projects, industries, and identity groups, and by trimming the fat from a bloated bureaucracy

3

Cut the red tape strangling BC business across all sectors. For every new regulation cut 10.

4

Build new highways, bridges, hospitals, and other major infrastructure projects with competition, innovation, and capital of the private sector.

5

Bring capital investment and local opportunities back to BC by removing UNDRIP and all band veto powers from BC.

Housing

1

Reform the Agricultural Land Commission to ensure the Agricultural Land Reserve is both effectively protecting farmland and not unnecessarily prohibiting development

2

Targeted housing construction support in resource-developing communities with low land costs and high wage-earning opportunities.

3

Attract capital investment into rental housing by eliminating rent controls on new construction.

4

Remove unnecessary and costly step code regulations.

5

Review and reduce real estate taxation, including phasing out the Property Transfer Tax.

6

A stable property tax based on physical traits, not market swings.

Raise wages for BC workers by taking control over immigration, just as Quebec does.

2

Take greater control over immigration policy to end mass immigration into BC and promote cultural integration.

End the importation of foreign grievances, and the flow of fentanyl from the Chinese Communist Party.

Family

1

Income tax relief for all mothers, including a lifetime income tax exemption for mothers of four or more children.

2

Property Transfer Tax exemptions on the purchase of a family’s principal residence.

3

Help children in care find the best parents possible by eliminating racial status as a factor in the selection of foster or adoptive parents

4

Restore parental responsibilities for decisions affecting their children, including a requirement that doctors obtain parental consent before prescribing drugs or performing surgeries on minors

Energy

1

Get pipelines and resource development projects out of the penalty box and into the game by rewriting BC’s Environmental Assessment Act and other unfair rules penalizing development.

2

Axe CleanBC and the industrial carbon tax, which discriminate against BC energy companies and drive up costs for all British Columbians.

3

Repeal the Clean Energy Act, which prevents BC from utilizing the same clean, abundant, and affordable energy resources that we export overseas.

4

Leverage our world-class energy resources to make British Columbia a global hub for AI, Bitcoin, and technological innovation.

Law & Order

1

Adopt the Alberta model to provide involuntary care of the chronically addicted, including short-term rehabilitation and long term care treatment.

Create a "micro-business" regulatory exemption class.

Introduce a Large Retailer Fairness Levy targeting multinational and foreign-owned retail giants who dominate the consumer marketplace and push out local businesses.

Environment

1

Support advanced forest fire detection, flood resistant infrastructure, drought-resistant farming, and other practical plans to protect British Columbians from extreme weather events and climate fluctuations.

2

Amend the Water Sustainability Act to allow farmers to manage their own wells and water resources without government intrusion.

3

Ensure fair access to provincial parks and stewardship opportunities, without regard for race or ancestry.

4

Introduce a provincial levy on cheap plastic toys, about 75% of which are manufactured in China using substandard labour and environmental practices.

Democracy

Referendums on critical issues like large transfers of public lands.
