The current provincial approach to addiction in British Columbia is an unmitigated disaster. By continuing to fund and operate taxpayer-supported drug consumption sites, the province is actively enabling drug addiction instead of treating it. This radical approach has destroyed our local neighborhoods, compromised public safety, and left vulnerable British Columbians trapped in a cycle of severe addiction without the structured, firm intervention they desperately need.

We must reject policies that hand out addictive drugs and enable self-destruction. It is time to implement common-sense solutions that prioritize public safety, clean streets, and real recovery.

The Mandate:

We, the undersigned residents of British Columbia, demand that the provincial government immediately shut down drug use sites that enable addiction. We call on the province to pivot its strategy entirely, ending the failed safe-supply framework and transitioning to a mandatory, involuntary detox and recovery model to clean up our communities and save lives.
