Candidate — Kamloops-North Thompson
“I am not a career politician. I’m a parent and grandparent who cares deeply about the future we are leaving for the next generation. We need practical experience and common sense in Victoria.”
Who I Am & Why I’m Running
I grew up in Cache Creek, lived in the region for decades, and spent 16 years living and working in the Boundary region before returning home in 2013. I didn’t grow up with special privilege—I’ve spent my life working hard, running a farm, managing a Small BC Woodlot Licence, and paying close attention to local regional district governance.
Having tracked real estate since 1980 and owning a strata property today, I see how inflation, soaring maintenance fees, and rising costs are pushing young families out of homeownership. In my daily work, I see the human toll of this crisis firsthand—including the homelessness visible along our commercial corridors like Tranquille Road and along Victoria Street. I am running to bring practical, street-level solutions to Parliament for the Kamloops-North Thompson communities.

What I Stand For with OneBC
1. Housing & Strata Relief: Cut property taxes by 25% for all, eliminate green building mandates that inflate construction costs, and reduce financial pressure on homeowners so young people can afford getting into the market and current homeowners can avoid foreclosure.
2. Resource Economy & Jobs: Unleash BC’s natural resources by cutting regulatory red tape, opening timber access, lowering stumpage fees, and protecting working forests and local ranching against Victoria overregulation.
3. Street Safety & Accountability: Restore law and order, end failed drug supply experiments, and address homelessness along corridors like Tranquille Road and the downtown sector with real accountability and structured, compassionate care.
4. Rural Healthcare & Families: End rural ER closures by directing healthcare funding to frontline doctors and nurses rather than Victoria bureaucracy. Defend parental rights and basic academics in schools.
